Launch Event for Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen at Books of Wonder Uptown (6-8 p.m.)

Launching Jessica Verdi’s And She Was at McNally Jackson Books (7 p.m.)

Join Jessica Verdi as she celebrates the release of her latest novel, And She Was. Free event.

I Have Lost My Way Launch Event at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe (7-8:30 p.m.)

Join Gayle Foreman as she celebrates the release of her first YA novel in over three years. There will be a special reading from the book and then Foreman will be joined by authors E. Lockhart (Genuine Fraud) and Libba Bray (The Diviners) to discuss the novel. Free event.

Launching Mary H.K. Choi’s Emergency Contact at McNally Jackson Books (7 p.m.)

Join Mary H.K. Choi as she celebrates the release of her debut novel, Emergency Contact. She’ll be in conversation with Jenna Wortham, award-winning journalist for The New York Times Magazine. Free event.

Stephanie Perkins at McNally Jackson Books (6:30 p.m.)

Perkins will be discussing her new book, There’s Someone Inside Your House.

Creative Conversations: Tracey Baptiste and Ibi Zoboi at The Langston Hughes House (7-9 p.m.)

Baptiste and Zoboi will be discovering their books Rise of the Jumbies and American Street. Tickets are $30 and include a copy of Rise of the Jumbies.

SCBWI presents Back 2 Back: Paulette Bogan & Annie Won at Books Are Magic (1 – 2 p.m.)
