Join NYT bestselling author duo Rachel Cohn and David Levithan as they celebrate the release of their latest novel. Free event.

Space Opera Event at Barnes & Noble Tribeca (6:30 p.m.)

Join bestselling author Catherynne M. Valente for a talk and signing about her new novel. Free event; priority seating with purchase of the book at the store.

Wednesday, April 11

Fantastic Teen Sci-Fi and Fantasy Reads Event at Books of Wonder (6-8 p.m.)

Meet authors Dhonielle Clayton (The Belles), Alexandra Monir (The Final Six), and Rebecca Ross (The Queens Rising) for a lively discussion on writing YA sci-fi and fantasy, with a book signing to follow. Light refreshments will be served. Free event.

Thursday, April 12

America Scores NY: Kids’ Poetry Reading at The Strand (4-5 p.m.)

America Scores NY will launch the organization’s first ever poetry book and some of the young “poet-athletes” who feature in this new book will gather for a recital of their work and a celebration of National Poetry Month. Free event.

Saturday, April 14

Meet YA Authors Nonieqa Ramos and Fred Aceves at Books of Wonder Uptown (3-5 p.m.)

Meet debut authors Nonieqa Ramos (The Disturbed Girl’s Dictionary) and Fred Aceves (The Closest I’ve Come). Free event.

Sunday, April 15

Great Chapter Book Reads Event at Books of Wonder Uptown (3-5 p.m.)

Come celebrate the release of three wonderful chapter books: Big Foot and Little Foot by Ellen Potter, Two Peas in a Pod by Sarah Mlynowski, and Jasmine Toguchi, Drummer Girl by Debbi Michiko. Free event.
