Fantastic Teen Sci-Fi and Fantasy Reads Event at Books of Wonder (6-8 p.m.)
Meet authors Dhonielle Clayton (The Belles), Alexandra Monir (The Final Six), and Rebecca Ross (The Queens Rising) for a lively discussion on writing YA sci-fi and fantasy, with a book signing to follow. Light refreshments will be served. Free event.

America Scores NY: Kids’ Poetry Reading at The Strand (4-5 p.m.)
America Scores NY will launch the organization’s first ever poetry book and some of the young “poet-athletes” who feature in this new book will gather for a recital of their work and a celebration of National Poetry Month. Free event.
