I made up for my March reading slump by reading almost non-stop. I still didn’t read as many books as I would’ve liked but at least now I’m back on track with my reading challenge. Check out my wrap-up below.
Number of Books I Read This Month: 8
TOP THREE BOOKS I READ THIS MONTH
1. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
I’m slowly making my way through Colleen Hoover’s books and I must say I think Maybe Someday is my favorite so far. I really loved Sydney, Ridge, and Warren. This book was filled with great characters and the romance was everything. Definitely a must buy for me. I want this on my shelf desperately so I can read it again and again.
2. A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
Truthfully I’m not a big Sherlock Holmes fan. Not that I don’t like him I’m just definitely not as obsessed with him as I know a lot of people are. However, when I heard about this book I immediately wanted it. It’s basically a modern day, gender swapped Sherlock Holmes story, told in the POV of Watson. There was mystery, humor, and just a bit of romance that kept things interesting. Definitely grab this book if you haven’t already.
3. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
If you’re heavily involved in the book community you’ve probably heard a lot about this series recently because the last book, The Raven King, just released. Truthfully this series somehow never crossed my radar until I saw it all over Instagram. But now that I’ve been completely sucked into the series I must say I get the hype. The main characters are Blue, the daughter of a psychic but with no psychic abilities of her own, and the Raven Boys, a group of four boys that attend the private boarding school in Blue’s town. I could go on and on about how much I love this series but I already reviewed it so just know it was amazing and you should read it.

This month was good to me in terms of books. I received my Book Outlet haul which included the Anna and the French Kiss trilogy, the first two books in The 5th Wave trilogy, Now I’ll Tell You Everything by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson, and Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I also won Me Before You by Jojo Moyes in an Instagram giveaway, which was super awesome and I bought The Grownup by Gillian Flynn and Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare from the Book Depository. I also picked up Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky when I went to Target and got Maybe Not from Amazon. In total I got 13 books this month. Wow!
