Unfortunately I didn’t do so well with my March TBR list so I’m hoping to play catch up this month. My goal is to read at least eight books and hopefully catch up on my Goodreads challenge for the year. Here’s my April TBR.
1. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
Ever since I joined “bookstagram” I’ve seen Colleen Hoover books everywhere. So far I’ve read two and Confess is my absolute favorite. I’m interested to see if Maybe Someday will top it.
2. You Know Me Well by David Levithan and Nina LaCour
When I saw this ARC in a NetGalley email I immediately requested it. I’ve honestly never read a book by just David Levithan but I’ve read two books he co-wrote (Will Grayson, Will Grayson and Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares) and I loved both of them. I’m excited to dive into another one of his stories.
3. A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
I tried to request an ARC copy of this book to no avail so I’m excited to finally have the chance to read it. Full disclosure I’m not obsessed with Sherlock Holmes but I really like the concept of this novel. And I’m a sucker for retellings.
4. Fairest by Marissa Meyer
Now that I’ve officially read every other book in The Lunar Chronicles, I think it’s finally time I learned Queen Levana’s backstory. Some of it’s already been spoiled for me but I’m still excited to read it for myself.
5. All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
This was on my TBR last month but I am absolutely determined to finally read it. It’s been on my shelf for months now and I take pictures of it all the time but I haven’t actually read it yet. It’s time.
6. Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
Honestly, I don’t really know what this book is about but the cover is really pretty and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Plus it’s already on my shelf so I feel like I should read it.
7. Vanished by E. E. Cooper
This is another book that’s been on my shelf for a really long time and I’m super excited to read it this month. The protagonist is a person of color and queer, which is something I don’t think I’ve seen in a YA novel before. Plus, it’s been compared to Pretty Little Liars and I loved those books (at least books 1-8 anyway).
8. Remember to Forget by Ashley Royer
I’ve never really read books on Wattpad but I know a lot of people do and I’ve considered publishing stuff on there myself. So when I see a Wattpad story is being published I’m always interested and I was excited to get a digital ARC of this YA novel that did really well on Wattpad.
