In 2021, I helped launched the #ShareBlackStories, an initiative during Black History Month to celebrate stories by Black creators. I created the social calendar and managed scheduling the content across Scholastic and Graphix calendars, as well as working with the I read YA team on their social.
The Baby-sitters Club Graphic Novels Promotions
I crafted year round social promotions for The Baby-sitters Club and Baby-sitters Little Sister graphic novels, including reels featuring all the illustrators and a #LoveYourGlasses campaign tied to the release of Karen’s School Picture.
Graphix twitter takeovers
In 2021, I launched Graphix Twitter Takeovers. Each month, I’d invite a creator to take over our account and discuss their process and answer fan questions.
How to Draw Series
In 2021, I launched a “How to Draw” series on Graphix, where I’d invite creators to draw one of their characters and then speed it up to create a reel with their voice over.
Get Drawn in with graphix
In early 2021, I launched an Instagram stories series where a Graphix staff member would share what their favorite Graphix novel was. Later that year, I switched the initiative over to Reels.
The Girl From the Sea Social Campaign
I created a long tail social campaign for The Girl From the Sea by Molly Knox Ostertag that included both pre-publication and post-publication social initiatives. This included #MerMondays, in which every Monday for the month of May and June, I posted content related to the series, such as sneak peeks from the book, a blog post from Ostertag, text video conversations from the book, and more.
